The Director ID registration process has been in place for some time now. Applications are to be received by November 2022, so if you haven’t applied yet, please do so.

I have had a very mixed response amongst clients and associates that have gone through the process.

My experience was straightforward as I had a MyGovId. It took about 5 minutes to do as I had the required documents required to apply.

You, too, can apply for the MyGovId. Go to to assist you with the application process. You will need to download the app onto your smart device and an email address.

It should be easy! A word of warning, the name you use should be precisely the same as the name you use with Government agencies, e.g. Name John versus Johnathon or middle name or no middle name etc.
